OR-327-EPR is a highly versatile elastomer, made from ethylene and propylene monomers, known as EPDM rubber. This exceptional material is renowned for its remarkable durability and its ability to withstand various environmental challenges, including heat, weathering, and ozone exposure. It excels in extreme cold conditions and outdoor settings, making it an ideal choice for electrical insulation.
Common Applications: EPDM O-Rings find frequent use in a wide range of applications, including those involving food, water, steam, phosphate ester type hydraulic fluids, brake fluids, ketones, ozone, and UV exposure. They are also compatible with alkalis, mildly acidic substances, and oxygenated solvents, and they work well with many polar fluids and chemicals.
In addition to these applications, EPDM O-Rings are commonly employed in automotive manufacturing, medical devices, water and wastewater systems, and various household appliances.
