NewAge Industries Fluoropolymer FEP Tubing can be used with virtually any industrial solvent, corrosive material, or chemical, even at high temperatures (it does however react with molten sodium hydroxide, fluorine, and molten alkali metals). Fluoropolymer Tubing can be sterilized chemically or with steam in-line with any industrial solvent, cleaner, or other sterilizing method. Fluoropolymer offers outstanding aging resistance, and it's non-stick properties allow transport of viscous, sticky materials without the risk of line clogging.
FEP (Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene) is known for its gas and vapor permeability properties and excellent UV transmission ratings. While very similar in composition to PTFE, there are a few notable differences. FEP clearer and more flexible than PTFE, and has a lower heat shrink temperature.
Applications:
* Orders for lengths greater than 100' will receive full coil(s). Any remaining length will be shipped as a separate segment.
