The Kinetico Sierra 104381 Sediment/GAC Prefilter is a unique cartridge which incorporates a coconut shell carbon GAC filter and a 25 mic sediment filter within the same module. This system is applicable to the all-plastic-frame and newer metal-frame Kinetico Sierra Systems purchased in 2005 or after.

Advanced filtration. This filter removes chlorine, taste, and odor, as well as silt, dirt, and suspended solids.
Quality assurance. This cartridge has been tested and certified to NSF/ANSI Standard 58 for Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water Treatment Systems.
