Hydrascan® incorporates an adjustable pressure sensor which starts the pumps based on pressure, and a flow sensor which stops the pump based on flow. The pump will stop if the flow is reduced below 0.5 gpm. Hydrascan® switches off the pump when the water supply becomes inadequate and prevents cycling unlike the annoying stop-start (cycling) of traditional pressure switches.
When installing to a municipal water supply, do not exceed a total system pressure of 100 PSI. The total system pressure will be the municipal supply pressure + max pump boost pressure listed in the item descriptions below. (Example: item #HS12-30HT1 max boost pressure is 50 psi, total system pressure would be municipal supply pressure + 50 psi.)
